The Jagiellonian University Medical College Language Centre organised Presentation Skills for Health and Medical Sciences courses in the years 2018–2020 as part of the ZintegrUJ project.

Presentation Skills for Health and Medical Sciences are semester-long courses providing language support for academic teachers who conduct classes in English.

The courses were developed and taught by senior lecturers at the JU MC Language Centre:

• Karolina Szkoła, MA
• Katarzyna Syta-Parente, MA

Course description and rules:

• Classes were conducted in small groups using a blended learning method: 30 hours of in‑person workshop-style classes and 30 hours of e‑learning on the remote learning platform.
• The e‑learning component was conducted asynchronously, without the need for participants to be physically present at a computer at specific times.
• E‑learning materials were available for self-study at times convenient for participants, up until the next in-person class session.
